Biography

 

Patty Penterman was born and raised in a small village in the east of the Netherlands, where her parents ran a dairy farm at the time. After high school, she went to Belgium to study Veterinary Medicine and completed it in 2000. For several years she worked as bovine practitioner in two different large animal practices (mostly dairy cattle), started in the west of the Netherlands and later in the east of the country. In 2014, after completing the study Bachelor of Education & Knowledge management in Wageningen, she worked as a livestock teacher at Aeres MBO Barneveld. Patty has been working at GD Animal Health since 2016. There she uses her experience as practitioner and her teacher skills with regard to animal health surveillance, Mycoplasma bovis and water quality.
