Biography
Saskia van der Drift is senior researcher at the R&D department of GD Animal Health. She is involved in product innovation, research projects and consultancy related to animal nutrition and metabolism. Saskia graduated as a veterinarian from Utrecht University in 2004. In the following years, she worked as a researcher at the ruminant department of Schothorst Feed Research, an independent research organization on animal nutrition. In 2008, she returned to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Utrecht where she completed a PhD thesis on ketosis in dairy cows. During her PhD track, she also obtained an MSc degree in Veterinary Epidemiology at Utrecht University. Saskia joined GD Animal Health in 2012.Publications
