I was born on July 8, 1989 in Venlo, the Netherlands. After obtaining my pre-university degree at “Blariacumcollege” in Venlo, I started studying Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University. In 2014, I graduated as a veterinarian in the master program farm animals/veterinary public health at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
In December 2014, I started my PhD research at the Department of Reproduction, Obstetrics and Herd Health, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Ghent University, Belgium.
