Activity

The purpose of the project is to advise the Ministry of Agriculture in Suriname with the design of a veterinary laboratory and the acquisition of equipment. The project includes assistance with the choice of diseases to be monitored, advice on test methods and proposals for further development of the veterinary services. The activities further include training in laboratory techniques (Serology, Bacteriology and Pathology) and disease monitoring. Also the project includes training in Laboratory Quality management. For the training activities GD is the leading partner.
